Important: As with any type of baby or pet carrier, always inspect your sling for damage before use and follow all instructions. Never perform any task with your child/pet in the sling that could be dangerous. Use common sense! By purchasing our products, you acknowledge that Angel Baby Slings/Angel Baby LLC/Jewel Bird Designs/Shannon Beck accept no responsibility for injury/damage due to the use/misuse of this product. Your child's/pet's safety is your responsibility. Be sure you have help getting your baby into and out of your baby sling until you become comfortable with it. When used properly, slings are very safe pieces of equipment. Pet slings are not intended for use with babies.
Ordering and Payment
Shop and check out using our secure shopping cart. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal payments. You can send a check or money order, although there will be a delay on shipping when paying by personal check.
Shipping
Free shipping on all orders over $100! Shipping charges will be added upon checkout. We charge a $5.00 flat rate with $1.00 for each additional item ordered. Your order will be shipped by Priority mail, unless other arrangements are made. Shipping to Canada is $6.00 for the first item and $2.00 for each additional item. Shipping to all other countries is $9.00 with $2.00 for each additional item. All in-stock items will usually be shipped within 1 business day. Extreme weather conditions may cause a delay (we are in South Dakota where winters can be very unpredictable). Custom items will take longer to prepare, depending on the type of item. The usual wait time for a custom order is approximately 1 week plus shipping time, but may take up to 3 weeks, depending on the volume of orders. Custom belly bands are usually shipped faster, although all orders are made in the order we receive them.
Returns and Exchanges
If you are unhappy with your purchase or have a problem with it, contact us as soon as possible to resolve the issue.
If you order a sling size that doesn't work for you, we will exchange your sling for the proper size at no extra charge. The original sling must be returned to us in new condition, unwashed. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping to us.
All slings and other products are made in our home and inspected carefully before they are sent, but if you have a problem with your item that is a structural error, we will exchange it for a different one.
If you have any issues with your item, please contact us within 10 days of receipt to be eligible for an exchange. At this time, we cannot accept returns on custom slings and Sera Tais. Please remember, we are not Wal-Mart - I personally make each of these carriers.
We will still do alterations at no charge on custom carriers for sizing issues. We will accept returns on in-stock carriers if the carrier does not work for you, or you may exchange it for another type of carrier that we have in stock. Please keep in mind that it may take some time for your baby to get used to a new carrier. Give it some time and make sure you are using it properly before asking for a refund. We will be more than happy to help you with using your carrier properly. To be considered for a return, you must contact us within 10 days of the day that you receive the item. Once we agree to do the refund, the carrier must be returned to us in new condition, unwashed. We will process the refund once we receive the carrier. Again, returns are not guaranteed and will not be available for custom items. Please keep in mind that you and your baby may need time to adjust to a new carrier. Babies especially need time to get used to being carried in a sling or Sera Tai if you have never used one, although most babies take to them right away. Please contact us with any questions.
