Pet Slings Information
As animal owners, we understand that pets are members of the family and that they like to be kept close. We designed our pet slings after receiving many baby sling orders from customers looking for small pet carriers for their toy-sized dogs and other small pets.
Our pet slings are designed specifically for small dogs, cats, and other small animals. They are made to be used as a pet front carrier and are a great alternative to traditional small pet carriers. We have several in stock pet slings available, or you can choose from a large variety of fabrics for custom-made pet slings. We offer pet slings specifically for dogs under 10 pounds (Mia pet slings) and for those up to 30 pounds (Bailey pet slings).
"Mia" Pet Slings
Modeled after our popular baby pouch slings, Mia pet slings are a unique, stylish, designer pet carrier. Open or zipper pockets can be added for carrying keys or treats, and you can choose to have your pet's name embroidered on the sling. Each sling has a lead with a clip sewn into the carrier to attach to your pet's collar. Each also has a top button closure to hold the sling closed, if desired. The shoulder strap is adjustable to fit most wearers.
We recommend using Mia pet slings for dogs and other pets under 10 pounds. Our Chihuahua and Yorkshire Terrier are featured in most of our pictures, and they are 4 and 6 pounds. For larger animals, our Bailey pet slings make a perfect alternative!

Bailey Pet Slings
Bailey pet slings are virtually identical to baby slings in both the pouch style and ring sling style, with a few customizations. Bailey pet slings can carry pets up to 30 pounds.
The rings on the ring sling style of Baily pet sling make the sling adjustable for different sized wearers and leaves a "tail" of loose fabric that can be used to cover your pet when desired. The picture to the left shows a 13 pound Dachshund in a gold silk Bailey ring sling.
The pouch style of Bailey sling is made to fit the wearer (not the pet - all the pouches are the same size for the pet). Like the ring sling, it can be used for pets up to 30 pounds.
The primary difference between the ring sling and the pouch sling is that the pouch is not adjustable for different wearers - it comes sized to fit the wearer. Instructions for how to determine your size are shown below and on the Bailey pet slings page.
Determining your size for a Bailey pouch sling
First, you will need to take a measurement in inches from the top of one shoulder, across your body, to the top of the opposite hip, as shown in the picture below:

Next, with this measurement, find your corresponding size in the table below:

This is the size of sling you will need to purchase.
