Shannon
My name is Shannon and I am the owner and founder of Jewel Bird Boutique and Candrima Designs, LLC, and the designer of Jewel Bird pet carriers, Sera Tai baby carriers, and many of the other products offered here. I started this business in 2004 just before the birth of my daughter. Thanks to a 3 month stay on bed rest during pregnancy and the discovery of an absolute necessity in my life as a new mom (the baby sling 
carrier), my business was born.
Candrima Designs, LLC is a home-based business and all products offered are handmade in the United States by work-at-home moms. We are located in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota, just minutes from Mt. Rushmore. Besides our children, we share our lives with lots of critters - horses, dogs, cats, birds, ferrets, and fish.
I am eternally grateful to all of the wonderful clients I have been privileged to work with over the last several years. Without you, this would not be possible. I thank you for your business!

Laurie has been sewing pet sling carriers for Jewel Bird Boutique since the beginning of 2008. She is a work-at-home mom to 2 beautiful kids and also runs her own online business.
